Off Leash Walking

🚫🐕 Why You Shouldn’t Walk Your Dog Off-Leash in Public 🚶‍♂️

We all want our dogs to feel free, but public spaces aren’t the place for off-leash roaming. Here’s why:

🔒 Safety First – Even the best-trained dog can bolt, get spooked, or run into traffic. A leash is their lifeline.

👶 Respect Others – Not everyone is comfortable around dogs. Kids, seniors, and other pets deserve to feel safe in shared spaces.

🌳 Protect Wildlife – Off-leash dogs can disturb local wildlife or get hurt themselves. Nature deserves peace too.

⚖️ It’s the Law – Most cities require leashes. Breaking the rules can lead to fines—or worse, serious incidents.

🚐 From a mobile groomer’s perspective – Walking a client’s dog from the house to my van should be simple. But when off-leash dogs come charging up, it gets sketchy fast. I’m responsible for someone else’s pet, and unexpected encounters can be dangerous for both dogs and humans.

💬 What’s the bottom line? Leashes aren’t restrictions, they’re respect. Respect for your dog, for others and for professionals like us who are trying to do our job safely.🐾💙
