48 Hours Notice?

We are going to talk about why it is important to give your mobile groomer a MINIMUM 48 hours notice for any changes that need to be made to your scheduled appointment.

Running a mobile grooming business means every appointment is carefully planned — from the route, to the timing, to the products and tools needed for each dog. When something changes last‑minute, it can affect the entire day’s schedule, the safety of the groom, and the comfort of your pup.

That’s why it’s so important to update me with any changes at least 48 hours before your appointment.

🗓️ What Counts as a “Change”?

Anything that affects your dog’s grooming needs or safety should be shared ahead of time, including:

-New medical conditions

-Allergies or sensitivities

-Behavioral changes

-Mobility issues

-Skin concerns or new lumps

-Recent surgeries or injuries

-Changes in coat condition (matting, shedding, etc.)

-Updates to vaccination records

-Any special handling needs

Even small changes can require adjustments in timing, products, or the overall grooming approach.

❤️ Why 48 Hours Matters

As a solo groomer, I plan each day down to the minute. When I know about changes ahead of time, I can:

Prepare the right tools and products

Adjust the schedule if needed

Allow extra time for special care

Ensure your dog’s safety and comfort

Prevent delays for other clients

Avoid last‑minute cancellations or rescheduling

This window helps keep the entire day running smoothly — for your dog, for me, and for every family on the schedule.

🐶 Safety First, Always

Grooming is hands‑on and intimate. If your dog has a new medical issue, allergy, or behavioral change, I need to know before I arrive so I can make the safest decisions for them.

Sharing updates early helps prevent:

Stress

Injury

Allergic reactions

Overexertion

Anxiety or fear

Unexpected complications

Your communication directly protects your pup.

💛 Thank You for Being a Partner in Your Dog’s Care

I appreciate every client who takes the time to update me ahead of their appointment. It makes a huge difference in keeping the day organized, safe, and stress‑free — especially since I run every part of this business myself.

Your cooperation helps me give your dog the best possible grooming experience, every single visit.
